| HRbio™ Serum-Free Cell Cryopreservation Medium | HRD0051 | 100mL | 358 |
Product Description
HRbio™ serum-free cell cryopreservation solution is commonly used for various animal cell lines (tumor cells and conventional cells). Cryopreserved cells can be stored for a long time (>5 years) at -80℃. HRbio™ serum-free cell cryopreservation solution has a clear formula and does not contain animal-derived proteins or serum, which can reduce contamination by various bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma, etc., and ensure the safety of cryopreserved cells.
Instructions
Cell Cryopreservation Procedure
1. Collect adherent cells or suspension cells in the logarithmic phase in a test tube using conventional methods
2. Confirm the number of cells required for cryopreservation
3. Collect the desired frozen cells in a centrifuge tube, centrifuge at 1000rpm for 5min, collect the cell pellet, and discard the supernatant
4. Add an appropriate amount of serum-free cell freezing solution to the centrifuge tube. The amount added should be based on the cell storage concentration of 5×10 5 to 1×10 7 /ml. Gently mix the cells to obtain a cell mixture.
5. Dispense the obtained cell mixture into cryopreservation tubes at 1-1.5 ml/tube;
6. Store the cryovials directly at -80℃ for long-term storage.
Cell recovery steps
1. Take out the frozen cells from -80℃ and immediately put them into a 37℃ water bath for rapid thawing
2. After the cell mixture is completely thawed, add 1 ml of cell culture medium immediately and mix.
3. Transfer the mixture to a centrifuge tube containing about 5 ml of the cell culture medium, centrifuge at 1000 rpm for 5 min, discard the supernatant, and obtain the cell pellet.
4. Add an appropriate amount of fresh cell culture medium, mix gently, and transfer the mixture to the culture container. After observing that the cells are in normal condition, proceed with subsequent cell culture work.
Storage conditions
Transport at room temperature, store at 4℃, if not used for a long time, store at -20℃, valid for 24 months.
Precautions
1. After the cryopreserved cells are aliquoted, the storage time outside should be shortened as much as possible. After the operation is completed, the cells should be moved into a -80 ℃ ultra-low temperature freezer as soon as possible.
2. This product is for scientific research purposes only!
3.HRbio™ serum-free cell freezing solution contains DMSO. For DMSO-sensitive cell lines and unconventional cell lines, such as primary cells, stem cells (ES cells) and other special cell types, it is necessary to test whether the target cells can be directly frozen with this product before use. The frozen cells should be cultured for at least 1-4 weeks of experimental cell cryopreservation of this product. After confirming that there are no problems, formal large-scale freezing can be carried out.
