4% paraformaldehyde/general tissue fixative | HRA2070 | 500 mL |
Product Description
Paraformaldehyde is one of the most commonly used fixatives in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) research. This fixative is relatively mild and can well preserve the antigenicity and fine structure of tissues. It is suitable for long-term storage of tissue specimens and cell slices, and is very suitable for light microscopic immunochemical research of tissues and cells.
This product is a 4% paraformaldehyde solution in PBS, which can be directly used for tissue and cell fixation. If other low concentration paraformaldehyde is required, it can be diluted in proportion with 0.01M PBS.
How to use
Tissue fixation: Immerse and fix at room temperature or 4°C for 2-24 hours. After rinsing with buffer, the tissue can be embedded in resin for tissue sectioning.
Section fixation: Fix at room temperature or 4°C for 10 min-2 h, depending on the thickness of the section. Rinse with buffer and then use for staining.
Cell fixation: Fix at room temperature or 4°C for 10-30 minutes, rinse with buffer and then use for staining.
Transportation and storage methods
Transport at room temperature. Store at room temperature, valid for 1 year.
